The Oceanic Training Centre is a state-of-the-art training facility in Manila that provides a venue for up-to-date training for all positions in the hospitality sector.

Our kitchen layout enables practical training in line with the latest international HACCP, US Public Health standards and European SHIPSAN.

The Oceanic Training Centre specialises in providing internationally recognised hospitality and culinary training programs, and the development of tailor-made training courses based on client needs and vessel’s dietary, nutritional and operational requirements.

It simulates the working environment of a ship’s galley, equipped with the same modern electrical equipment found in international vessels, while for cruise vessels particularly we also design mock-up guest cabins and suites fitting the specifications received by the client.

For the merchant vessels, we have global expertise in providing first class training capabilities, including continuous theoretical and practical training, regulatory compliance as well as health and wellbeing programs.

Our offshore clients can benefit from our wide pool of qualified training personnel, who will ensure the provision of quality services across operations, administration and HSEQ departments.

Utilising our extensive experience within the cruise industry, we offer hospitality trainings pertaining to guest-centred departments such as housekeeping, bar and dining, designed to optimise the scope of service set forth by the client.

As a commitment to quality the ISO 9001:2015 certified Oceanic Hospitality Training Centre meets MLC 2006 standard and is accredited by TESDA (Technical Skills Development Authority) as a training and assessment centre for a wide range of training programs.

The Oceanic Training Centre counts a total of 1,500m2, including a banquet and buffet venues and a fine dining restaurant.

A modern equipped computer room with 16 workstations and latest audio-visual training aids suits as a learning resource area and practical work area for the increasing number of computer based trainings.

Classrooms, laundry and housekeeping areas will suit a wide range of training activities.

Our Online Training offer a series of online training courses to our shore-based catering crew, aiming towards continuously maintaining and growing their competences and knowledge prior to their next embarkation.
